1952 Fender Precision Bass - Simply Amazing!
1952 Fender Precision Bass
Serial No. 1416 stamped on bridge
Neck and body both marked Dec 9, 1952
Almost all original, except: Pickguard (a totally legit recreation), Saddles (made of the same material as the originals), volume pot, several screws, and the original pickup was rewound by Lindy Fralin.
This bass is on consignment, it is owned by a pro and has been used on many records including Johnny Winter, Aimee Mann, Elliot Easton, and Ministry.
It has worn flats all its life, so it has virtually zero fret wear, and should easily be good for another 72 years of P Bass heaven!
The back of the neck is smooth as silk and absolutely flawless.
The setup is incredible, it plays effortlessly, and the tone is absolutely KILLER, total P-bass perfection.
Original pickup cover and bridge cover with screws are also included but not currently installed.
Original tweed case in excellent condition other than some cosmetic staining on the outside. All latches working fine.
If you have always wanted to own a genuine piece of Fender history, while at the same time owning an absolutely INCREDIBLE P Bass that you can and will enjoy playing every day, taking into the studio, and gigging every weekend, this is your chance. Get it while you can.
