Another special Fodera from a golden era, this beauty has an alder body with a spectacular Chestnut Burl top. 
The 5 piece neck is maple with two walnut stringers.
The fretboard is a lovely 200 year old piece of Indian rosewood with mother of pearl dots.
The neck is thin and the action is ridiculously low, making this bass extremely comfortable to play. 
Although the ruler says it has a 36" scale, it feels more like a 34" simply because of the neck geometry.  But the 36" scale length does certainly add to the commanding tone and note clarity on the bottom end.
The bass was updated by Fodera with a set of Duncan/Fodera pickups and the Fodera/Pope preamp.
