2014 ESP LTD RB-1004 Rocco Prestia Signature P/J 4-string bass
This very pretty bass is one of the last remaining instruments from the Aguilar Artist Loft collection.
It is super lightweight, tipping the scales at just 7 lbs. 2 oz.!
It has a swamp ash body and elegant spalted maple top, Aguilar pickups and preamp, and a nice fast, thin 5-piece neck.
The bass is in MINT 100% as-new condition. It has never been privately owned, and a close inspection shows that it has barely ever been played, if at all.
It has been set up with nice, comfortable low action and is very easy to play, and has a broad range of useful P and J types of tones. The two band boost and cut preamp allows for even further tone shaping.

The "RB" in this bass series stands for "Rocco's Bass", referring to none other than the man who co-designed this instrument and inspired thousands of players with his innovations in fingerstyle funk: Rocco Prestia of the immortal Bay Area funk/R&B masters Tower of Power. The LTD RB-1004 starts with some traditional design cues, like its bolt-on construction at 34" scale. But from there, it goes straight uptown with a dense swamp ash body, a figured spalted maple top in Natural Satin finish, a C-shaped five-piece maple and walnut neck, and an maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and oval pearloid inlays. If you want great-sounding, flexible tone, the RB-1004 gives it to you in droves with Aguilar P and J pickups, with the additional tonal flexibility of an Aguilar OBP-2 preamp with volume, balance, and bass and treble  controls that can boost and cut. The RB-1004 also includes high-quality Grover tuners, and a Gotoh bridge with string-thru-body design for fantastic sustain.
