Adamovic "The Dark" 5-string
 
This drop dead gorgeous bass recently arrived at John Fox Bass.
The punchy tone and immediate responsiveness of this bass are incredible. The notes seem to INSTANTLY jump out of the speaker with zero delay or ramp-up time.  I have not experience that level of immediacy before with any other bass. I assume it must be this particular combination of woods, i.e. the walnut and padouk.
