Deposit for Custom Dingwall bass
This is a deposit to RESERVE a build slot and to indicate a commitment to purchase a custom Dingwall bass built in Canada to YOUR specifications.
The entire amount of your deposit will be applied toward the bass purchase. The balance will be due after John Fox Bass has received the bass from Dingwall and prepared it for delivery to you.
Model choices include:
Afterburner I - 4, 5 or 6 strings
Afterburner II - 4, 5 or 6 strings
ABZ - 4, 5 or 6 strings
D-Roc Custom - 4 or 5 strings
Super P - 4 or 5 strings, with P or J neck
Super J - 4 or 5 strings
Super PJ - 4 or 5 strings
Z1, Z2 or Z3 - 5 or 6 strings
All models can be built fretted or fretless.
Your order will be placed with the builder immediately.
The specifications for your build are not needed until Dingwall asks for the specs, 30 days prior to the start of construction.
If an exotic top is desired, we must reserve that in advance. John Fox Bass already has a few tops reserved (contact me for photos). Dingwall posts new tops periodically on their website here.
Delivery date will be determined by Dingwall's schedule, and is not able to be controlled by John Fox Bass. To be fair to all dealers and all customers, Dingwall is now building basses in order based on the date the customer deposit was paid, regardless of which dealer took the order. There are no more "pre-reserved" build slots.
IMPORTANT:
Exact build time and ETA cannot be predicted by John Fox Bass, nor by Dingwall or any Dingwall dealer. Therefore, no commitment can be made for a specific delivery date. It is best to plan on a delivery time of at least one to two years or more. If you require a bass by a specific date, it may be better to purchase a pre-owned bass, or a new bass that a dealer already has in stock.
Bass will be shipped via UPS or FedEx to the Customer immediately after being received from the builder and inspected, and after the remaining balance due has been paid in full.
Shipping to addresses within the Continental USA will be free of charge.
Customer to pay the actual shipping cost for shipments to addresses outside the Continental USA.
