The ABZ is sort of like the best kept secret in the Dingwall lineup. While the Z models seem to get the most attention, the ABZ model an awesome bass. They are impeccably built to the same high standards as all the other Canadian-made models, with a lightweight swamp ash body just like it's Z sibling, but with an easier-to-build neck-to-body joint and without a matching headstock, both of which greatly simplify the construction process, and therefore help to keep the price down.
 
This bass priced out at just $4,220 in 2024. With the new tariff that is coming on March 4, 2025, it will now cost $5,275 to build this same exact spec.
