Welcome to Dingwall Custom Shop serial number 6666, the very first Dingwall Prima Artist with a Rupert Neve Designs preamp. What a perfect pairing - the ultimate on-board preamp to complete the ultimate bass.
 
I have not made a demo video of this special bass because I want to give the lucky purchaser the opportunity to be the first to experience it in all its glory. After receiving it and installing the batteries, I briefly tested it by playing the open strings, then photographed it and put it back into its premium Dingwall case where it awaits its forever home. And yes, the open strings sounded absolutely glorious. It took every ounce of willpower to stop there.
  
The body is half figured walnut, half flamed maple, with a flamed maple contrast layer and highly figured walnut top and back with wood pickup covers and magnetic battery cover to match. The five piece neck comprised of maple, wenge and flame maple is adorned with a stunning macassar ebony fingerboard with bi-color smoke inlays. If you are like me, this will probably be the most beautiful, best playing and best sounding electric bass guitar you will ever encounter.
