Dingwall Z3 5-string - Roasted Ash Neck - Violet/Cyan Ceruse finish

This unique new Dingwall Z3 5-string was just completed.

This Z3's dual density swamp ash body is finished in a striking ceruse, with violet grain filler and a matte cyan background. 
It has a roasted ash neck, which is beautiful, slick, and extremely light weight. 
In fact, the bass weighs just 8.5 pounds, which may be the lighest Z3 I have encountered. 
The white pearloid ghost block inlays really pop on the wenge fingerboard, and complement the ceruse finish beautifully.
It has been fitted with a pair of FD3 pickups and a P-Tone pickup in the Neck position.
A Glockenklang preamp and series/parallel switches round out the electronics package, and a Hipshot detuner will let the owner get down to low A when he really needs to shake the building.
 
I just love how Dingwall achieved a very exotic and completely unique look on this bass with just the standard swamp ash body. Because every piece of wood is different, there is no other bass in the entire world that looks exactly like this one, and there can never be another one.
